There are only 3 campaigns left standing, and these are definitely not the three I thought would still be in the running. Joe Biden is having an incredible week, Bernie Sanders is running his campaign like he will the government, and Tulsi Gabbard is blaming everyone else for her lack of success.

Day 289: 3/4/20
In the wake of Super Tuesday, we lost another candidate in Mike Bloomberg, and Joe Biden gained another endorsement. He isn’t taking these endorsements in vain and is instead building a massive coalition to defeat Donald Trump.

Happy day after Super Tuesday, everyone! We managed to survive with many delegates being called on the actual election night. Check out my delegate map if you’re curious as to how everything shook out.

Monday brought a lot of endorsements for Joe Biden and a lot of anger from Tulsi Gabbard. It also brought very few emails for me.
As a note: tomorrow’s BTE may be delayed (or non-existent). I will be out of town all day with limited access to a computer.

We lost 2 candidates over the weekend, though Tom Steyer was considerate enough to end on a Saturday so he doesn’t get looped into another weekly recap. The focus of the emails was definitely on fundraising, with a sprinkling of South Carolina and Super Tuesday on top. Pete Buttigieg had the most varied asks for money, while Bernie Sanders was the only candidate who asked for my vote directly.

This past week has had a debate, an election, and an FEC deadline, and Pete Buttigieg still topped the email charts. Despite all of these events, the email peak is one of its lowest ever, and we lost another candidate in Tom Steyer.

Day 284: 2/28/20
South Carolina polls are closing, and my delegate maps will be updated soon. Regardless, the candidates are focusing more on fundraising for their FEC deadline than getting out the vote in South Carolina. Only Pete Buttigieg and Elizabeth Warren are asking me to help them in the final hours before the primary.

Wednesday had no debates, though it did have some town halls (though only Joe Biden told me about his). Mike Bloomberg was still taking calls for marketing purposes, and Pete Buttigieg sent a real gem of an email.

That debate last night was… a total cluster. The moderators had no control over the stage, cutting off actual substantial discussions, favoring certain candidates, and letting others ramble well beyond their time. The crowd was cheering and booing with no warnings to behave, and almost nobody got a joke to land. It was not a good final showing before Super Tuesday.

The weekend held the Nevada Caucus, the first time we had a winner definitely declared the same day the voting was carried out: Bernie Sanders. Delegates are still being awarded, but at the moment, Sanders is leading the new delegate count by over 10, putting him in first place, with Pete Buttigieg in second and Joe Biden moving up to third.
