On Thursday, March 19, 2020, at 10:45 AM, U.S. Representative of Hawaii’s 2nd District, Tulsi Gabbard, suspended her campaign for President..

Day 304: 3/19/20
We had one more candidate drop out, which meant Thursday had three candidates emailing for the very last time.

With how few emails I’m getting, these weekly recaps are going to be much shorter. There’s no point highlighting an email I’ve already highlighted, so I’ll just be focusing more on the overall trends. With that being said, I’m working on new merch! Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, and Bernie Sanders will all get designs.

Day 298: 3/13/20
Only two of the candidates bothered to email at all yesterday, and only one of the candidates asked me for money. These would be much more impressive announcements if we weren’t down to the last three candidates in the race.

In the face of a global crisis, both Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders delivered remarks on the Coronavirus. I couldn’t watch either of their addresses to the nation, as I was busy with work. Thankfully, one of them made sure I didn’t miss what he had to say.

Bernie Sanders is growing quieter, leaving Joe Biden to dominate my inbox. Over half of the total emails I received on Wednesday came from the Democratic front runner.

After last night’s blowout, my inbox has gotten noticeably quieter.
It’s a little sad that losing just 2 emails was noticeable.

It seems like 17 is the magic number for emails these days. Now that we’re down to just 3 candidates, I’ve been getting 17 emails a day quite a bit.
Today was the day my state got to vote. In the interest of full disclosure: I voted for Joe Biden, for Pete Buttigieg.
(If any of you hadn’t guessed that outcome, you were giving me way too much credit)

With just 3 candidates remaining, the weekend was far from exciting when it comes to emails. Bernie Sanders made sure I knew that my $1 donation was a big deal, so I should give him 14x that to help him win, while Tulsi Gabbard grumbled about how the DNC rules kept cutting her out of the debate, even while they let Mike Bloomberg in (though it could be argued that by letting Mike in, the DNC killed his campaign). Joe Biden, meanwhile, has been grateful that the party is coming home and his donations are surging along with his momentum.

We lost 4 candidates this week, and my inbox is finally showing it. After Pete Buttigieg dropped on Sunday, the emails started to collapse. Amy Klobuchar took another chunk out of my email with her suspension, and then Mike Bloomberg, who never emailed much, pulled out completely. Finally, Elizabeth Warren wrapped up her campaign, and my inbox has been under 20 emails a day without them.
