It’s the triple-3 day! I’ve been doing daily updates for 333 days so far!
Where has the time gone?
For all new readers: Welcome! I am currently on the mailing lists of Joe Biden and Donald Trump, though I have previously been on the mailing lists of 28 Democratic candidates! This blog breaks down recent emails with charts and excerpts. If you already know all of this, feel free to skip to the next chart!
It took some time for the Trump emails to kick in, so I started officially tracking his list on July 7. I have been tracking Biden’s for longer, but I will start comparing them as of July 7. All of these emails are going to a new email, and I have not donated, filled out surveys, signed petitions, or otherwise interacted with either candidate’s emails.
The rules I try to follow for the various categories are laid out in The Framework.
It would be far more exciting that Joe Biden sent 3 emails on the 333rd day of this blog if it weren’t his standard email regime at this point.
It would also be more exciting if there was a change to his email asks. He sent one about the general election strategy survey (not called the Beat Trump survey today), despite saying that it closed on Thursday at midnight… he was giving me one last chance to slip in my answers. He also sent two emails asking for donations, because even though Trump has a leg up on fundraising, Biden has a small but strong lead in a bunch of national polls. He’s not going to take anything for granted, though, so please give him money?
His other fundraising email was pointing out that there are now exactly 200 days (as of Friday) until the November election. That means I’m more than halfway through this cycle. Let’s go!
