Bernie Sanders has emailed me three days in a row. I’m so confused…

For all new readers: Welcome! I am currently on the mailing lists of Joe Biden and Donald Trump, though I have previously been on the mailing lists of 28 Democratic candidates! This blog breaks down recent emails with charts and excerpts. If you already know all of this, feel free to skip to the next chart!
It took some time for the Trump emails to kick in, so I started officially tracking his list on July 7. I have been tracking Biden’s for longer, but I will start comparing them as of July 7. All of these emails are going to a new email, and I have not donated, filled out surveys, signed petitions, or otherwise interacted with either candidate’s emails.

Once again, Joe Biden has sent his usual 3 emails, and Bernie Sanders seems to be falling into a new rhythm of 1 email a day.
That one email from Sanders included five new charities to donate to, plus a group that supports food banks. I’ve lost count of how many different charities Sanders has asked me to donate to. Is he trying to get brownie points by being able to say “Yeah, well my supporters were so generous, they gave to over two dozen charities in my name!”? Because that’s all he seems to care about these days.
Joe Biden, on the other hand, sent a survey asking me for help with his Michigan for Biden strategy. He also told me that his recent policy survey said people wanted to know more about his climate plans, so he gave me information on his climate policy and asked me to sign to be a co-sponsor. He also, as always, sent an email asking for money to support his campaign.
While Bernie Sanders’ emails are always focused on coronavirus these days, Joe Biden has come around to the fact that other crises and issues exist, and he tries to address them. He also tries to address the fact that maybe people want to hear about something other than the global pandemic that the US has completely fumbled the response to. While he continues to address the horrible job Trump is doing as President, Biden tries to talk about other things.
However, Biden did add a new paragraph to the bottom of his emails, one I really appreciated.
In addition to the usual disclaimer at the bottom with links to unsubscribe or to switch to only important emails, Biden has been offering this option to pause emails for two weeks. It makes sense. If you’re dealing with a sudden loss in your life, whether it be a family member or a job, getting three emails a day from a political campaign asking you to support them may not be the best thing for your mental wellness. Biden’s giving supporters a way to temporarily turn off his requests without needing to opt out of support entirely. It’s considerate and thoughtful. One could even say compassionate.
Man, I miss having those adjectives describe our national leader.
But their emails! 
Are you thinking eventually you may go to every other day e-mail since the volume has decreased so much?
