Farewell Seth Moulton

At 2:28 PM ET, on Friday, August 23, 2019, during the Democratic National Committee summer meeting, Seth Moulton, U.S. Representative for Massachusetts’ 6th district, officially stepped out of the race for President.

I wish I could tell you something about Seth. I wish I had fancy charts full of pretty colors to show you. But the truth is that in 94 days of tracking his emails, Seth only sent me 1. Rather than try to extrapolate some statistics from it, I’ve decided to reproduce it in its entirety here:

Friend,

Thanks for joining Seth Moulton for America.

Having you on the team from the beginning is huge, and we are proud to have your support.

Here are three quick things you can do to help Seth out:

* Give Seth a ‘like’ on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram

* Help Seth get to the debate stage by jump-starting our push to get the 65,000 individual contributions required to join the first debate in June. Chip in here.

* Invite your friends to chip in. Even one dollar helps us get closer to 65,000 supporters, and we can’t get there without your help.

Thanks again for joining the team. We’re proud to have you on board.

Team Moulton

I hope Seth doesn’t wonder why he never took off.

Good-bye, Seth Moulton, and thanks for having an automatic response to my joining your mailing list.

No credit, just debit.
