Debate 2: Night 2

In just a few minutes from this post going live, the second night of the second Democratic Presidential Primary Debate will begin on CNN! If you’re wondering about the candidates, here are their email strengths:

Note: Donor and non-donor emails are not separated for these counts.

Michael Bennet came in first place for Most Emails Sent Discussing Policies, with 17.

Also most morning emails and most emails calling me “Team.”

Joe Biden came in first place for Most Emails Sent with Surveys, with 35.

Also the most petitions and the most news events and the most mentions of Trump.

Bill de Blasio came in first place for Lowest Average Donation Ask from an Email, with $3.27.

I had to dig deep for this one.

Cory Booker came in first place for Most Number of Optimistic Emails Sent, with 58.

Also the most emails with no ask, just info, and the most sent by the candidate.

Julian Castro came in first place for Most Emails Sent About Media Appearances, with 28.

He’d email me before and after and the next day whenever he was a on a show.

Tulsi Gabbard tied for first with Most Emails Asking Me to Share on Social Media, with 6.

Like Hickenlooper, she just wasn’t really the best at ANYTHING.

Kirsten Gillibrand came in first place for Most Emails Sent Calling Me Friend, with 87.

But are we ACTUALLY friends?

Kamala Harris came in first place for Most Emails Sent Asking for Donations, with 163.

And yet, not the most emails total of this group.

Jay Inslee came in first place for Most Emails Repeated, with 21.

I HATE repeated emails.

Andrew Yang came in first place for Most Emails Sent Advertising Merchandise, with 12.

Including his long-shot shot glass.
